Nick Martini, Senior Vice-President of Operations ▾

Nick Martini is Senior Vice President and oversees the daily operations of Northstar Bus Lines and American Student Transportation. Nick has worked in pupil transportation since 2009 serving in roles for school districts and private contractors. Nick’s role is to support each company’s leadership teams to provide service consistent with state and federal regulations, as well as customer expectations. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting.

Nick is very active in state and national industry groups that support pupil transportation. He is dedicated to improving safety and exploring new opportunities to advance the overall performance and experience of school bus transportation. Nick is also very involved in school bus electrification efforts in Minnesota and is excited to understand the benefits and challenges in this emerging technology.

In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating, motorcycling and traveling.

Jessica Moe, Terminal Manager ▾

Jessica A. Moe serves as American Student Transportation’s Terminal Manager. Ms. Moe is responsible for managing charters and human resources. She has been with American Student Transportation since 2016 and has her school bus CDL. In her free time, Jessica likes to spend time with her son.

Adam Kropp, Shop Manager ▾

Adam R. Kropp serves as American Student Transportation’s Shop Manager. Mr. Kropp is responsible for fleet maintenance, DOT compliance, facility maintenance, and overall safety of equipment. He has been with American Student Transportation since 2012 and has a degree from South Central College and Mankato State University in Business Management. In his free time, Mr. Kropp likes spending time with his wife and two girls, disc golfing, gardening, going on long walks and cooking for others.

Cedirc Hicks, Charter Manager ▾

Cedric Hicks is the American Student Transportation Charter Manager. He has +10 years of experience in Logistics and Service. In addition he has been trained in Emergency Medical and has +5 years in First Aid & Safety. Outside of work Cedric is a Preacher serving his community in Minneapolis. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing music.

Saundra Matchette, Marketing Manager ▾

Saundra Matchette is Northstar Bus Lines’ Marketing Manager. She graduated from Hamline University in 2015 with a Bachelor in Business Administration, and is now pursuing her passion in Marketing. She joined the Northstar team in 2021 and is responsible for internal and external marketing, communications, content creation and social media. Saundra currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her husband Anthony and family of 8 (including her dogs)! She enjoys Country Music, Running, Travel and Fishing. Most important, Football, Fantasy Football and the Vikings! SKOL!

Tamika Wallace, Compliance Manager ▾

Tamika Wallace serves as American Student Transportation’s Compliance Manager and is responsible for Driver’s DOT Compliance and School Bus and Charter registration/titles. Ms. Wallace is a recent employee of American Student Transportation and resident of Minnesota relocating from Wisconsin. Tamika is a Commercial Licensed Driver and has been in the School Bus Industry for 10 years which includes Training, Safety & Compliance and Third Party Testing. She is a mother of 1 daughter (Gabrielle, 12) and enjoys reading, skating, bowling, arts & crafts with daughter and loves to spend quality time with family.

Traecy Hoskins, Accountant Specialist ▾

Traecy Hoskins serves as Northstar Bus Lines’ Accounting Specialist. Mrs. Hoskins is responsible for payroll, accounts payable, and employee benefits. She has recently just joined Northstar. She holds professional certificates in Financial Accounting from MCTC, and is a public notary. In her free time, Mrs. Hoskins enjoys golf, traveling, going to her niece and nephew's sporting events and her quiet time at home with her hubby, daughter and poodle.

Annissa Kiekow, Transportation Manager/Dispatcher ▾

Annissa J. Kiekow serves as American Student Transportation’s Dispatcher and Transportation Manager. Ms. Kiekow is responsible for dispatching, coordinating routes, and schedules and creating relationships with drivers. She has been with American Student Transportation since 2012, has been with the Mounds View School District since 1996, and has her school bus CDL. In her free time, Ms. Kiekow likes spending time with her children and her grandchildren.

Presko Hanson, Transportation/Dispatch Manager ▾

Presko Hanson is the Transportation Manager at American Student Transportation. She recently joined the team back in October 2022, but has managed transportation for 3 years. Ms. Hanson graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and International Business from Augsburg University. In her free time, she enjoys painting/drawing, cooking, hanging out with friends/family, learning languages, reading, playing the piano, and traveling.

Michael Shedlock, Transportation/Safety Manager ▾

Michael Shedlock is the American Student Transportation Safety and Training Manager. He has been with American since 2018. He has 7 years of experience as a Safety Manager in the bussing industry. In addition, he has 5 Years of Train the Trainer experience with certificates and is car seat certified. Mike enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. His favorite activities include boating, fishing and camping.

Mary Kephart, Hiring Manager ▾

Mary E. Kephart serves as American Student Transportation’s Hiring Manager and has been with the company since 2017. She is responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training new employees, as well as assisting dispatch when needed. Mrs. Kephart attended Century College for EMT and Nursing and has her school bus CDL. In her free time, Mrs. Kephart enjoys spending time with her grandkids, binge watching shows and movies, cross-stitching, driving her Jeep, nature walks (until she sees a snake), dancing, and watching wrestling.

Mark Kretzschmar, Systems Analyst / Project Manager ▾

Mark Kretzschmar is our new Systems Analyst / Project Manager for Northstar Bus Lines and American Student Transportation. He has 22+ years experience in the school bus industry working for Mounds View Public Schools and with other organizations public and private. Mark is married and has three children. In his spare time he enjoys walks outdoors, spending time with family/friends, and traveling.

Ashley White, Transportation/ Dispatch Manager ▾

Ashley has been employed with American Student Transportation for 6 years and driving a school bus for 4 years before becoming a dispatch manager. She enjoys transporting all children k-12; they are all a high light for her days. She is a mother of 4 beautiful kids. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends during her free time. One of her biggest fears is flying on an airplane, but she hopes to overcome it one day.
