One Thriller of a Summer

One of our cherished traditions at Northstar Bus Lines/American Student Transportation is our company-wide back-to-school video spoof. We created this enjoyable video to kick off our eight-hour comeback meetings. It lightens the atmosphere, fosters camaraderie, and reminds everyone that we are more than just a business; we love to have fun.

Over the past years, themes have featured What a Man, God Father, Mission Impossible, and this year's theme: THRILLER. Employees embraced the opportunity to learn the dance moves, put on costumes, and act like zombies around the base. Meanwhile, our Terminal managers convincingly portrayed the idea that driving a bus isn't frightening at all.

We chose thriller this year because you never know what’s going to happen on a day to day basis at a school bus company. We just trust that our experience and training will get us through whatever thrilling ride might come along. Our employees were excited to channel their inner Michael Jackson, and the energy was contagious. From the moment the iconic music started, laughter and excitement filled the room. It was a chance to showcase our creativity and teamwork in a playful way, and of course, to share some good-natured laughs.

The video shoot was a testament to our collective spirit. Whether it was perfecting the moonwalk or nailing that zombie stagger, everyone gave it their all. It was more than just a performance; it was a celebration of our unity and resilience. The final cut was a masterpiece that left everyone eagerly anticipating next year's theme.
